The Garments

What does bespoke mean at Sūt?

Every garment is cut and stitched to your exact measurements. We do not work from standard sizes. Your pattern is drafted from scratch for your body alone.

What measurements do I need to provide?

For shirts: chest, shoulder width, full length, sleeve length, and sleeve opening. You can also add comments for fit preferences such as slim, regular, or relaxed.

Can I request adjustments to my garment after delivery?

If your garment does not fit as expected, contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will assess the issue and work with you to find a resolution. We take fit seriously and will not leave you with a garment you cannot wear.

The Materials

Where do your fabrics come from?

Our Mulberry and Tussar silks are sourced from Bengal and Jharkhand, India. Our linen is handwoven by artisan communities in Odisha. Our cotton linen blend is sourced from Tamil Nadu. All fabrics are single-origin and natural fibre — no synthetics, no blends.

Are your fabrics tested?

Yes. All our fabrics are inspected before cutting begins. Each piece is checked for consistency in weave and finish. We only use fabric that meets our quality standard.

How do I care for my garment?

Silk garments should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cold water and air dried flat. Linen and cotton linen garments can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and hung to dry. Avoid tumble drying all garments.

Ordering and Delivery

How long does it take?

From the date your order is placed, the process takes approximately 6 weeks. This includes fabric preparation, tailoring, quality check, and delivery to Australia.

Do you ship outside Australia?

Currently we ship to Australia only. We will update this page when international shipping becomes available.

Is shipping included?

Yes. Delivery to Australia is included with every order at no extra charge.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Because each garment is made to your measurements, we begin production shortly after your order is confirmed. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes can be made once cutting has begun.

The Fit Guarantee

What is Sūt's fit guarantee?

Every commission is backed by our fit guarantee. If a garment does not fit as expected on delivery, contact us within 14 days at sut.admin.au@gmail.com. We will assess the fit and remake the garment where the fault is ours.

What is the production lead time?

All commissions carry a 6-week production lead time from the day your confirmed measurements are received. This applies to all fabrics and styles in our range.
