Embroidery Quilted Jacket
The Embroidery Quilted Jacket is a collision of two ancient craft traditions — the structural warmth of quilting and the artisan precision of hand embroidery — resolved into a single garment of considerable beauty. It is the jacket that earns compliments without seeking them: worn over a cashmere turtleneck in a Melbourne winter, or alone as a statement layer on a cool summer evening in Hobart.
Each jacket is constructed at the Anuprerna cooperative in Bengal, where quilting and embroidery are applied by hand — no two pieces are identical.

About This Piece
The Embroidery Quilted Jacket features hand-stitched quilting across the body for a subtle texture and additional warmth, combined with artisan embroidery at key points — collar, cuffs, and body panels. The result is a jacket of layered craft: structural, decorative, and deeply considered.

How to Measure
For the most accurate fit, have a tailor or trusted person take your measurements using a soft tape measure.
- Chest — Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal.
- Shoulder — Measure from the tip of one shoulder to the tip of the other, across the back.
- Sleeve Length — Measure from the shoulder tip to the wrist bone with arm slightly bent.
- Back Length — Measure from the nape of your neck to where you'd like the garment to end.
- Waist — Measure around your natural waistline.
- Hip — Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Neck — Measure around the base of your neck.
- Wrist — Measure around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
All Sūt garments are produced with a 1–2 cm tolerance. If you are between measurements, we recommend sizing up.

Care Instructions
Dry clean only — the combination of quilting layers and hand embroidery requires professional care to maintain integrity. If hand washing is necessary, use cool water with an extremely mild detergent, handle with great care, and lay flat to dry. Do not wring, twist, or tumble dry. Iron on the reverse at low heat with a protective cloth over embroidered sections.
